Christmas Eve

So, about 45 minutes ago we did the Christmas Eve ritual and put the kids to bed. I am so excited, you would think that I was a kid again. It is times like this when I really know how lucky I am to have my family and be where I am in my life. Tomorrow morning is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!! The boys are so excited. We went out and sprinkled "reindeer food" in the yard so that the reindeer would have a snack, set cookies and milk out for Santa along with a note written by Connor, and I read them Twas the Night Before Christmas. I dressed them in their Christmas PJs and they are now in lala land....well at least Connor is. Jaxson is trying to pretend that he is sleeping but it is so much harder for him to fall asleep than it is for Connor. Kaden went to sleep about 9 0'clock so he missed out on the festivities, but he's a baby and will join in on the fun next year. Next year will be even better because we will have 3 excited boys instead of just two. Kaden will be 18 months and will understand a little better what is going on.

Tomorrow morning we will open presents and then eat breakfast. The rest of the day is ours to do as we wish. We aren't going anywhere. We are just going to play with the kids' new toys and lounge around. We have already had the Edmonds and Jackson Christmas' and then the day after Christmas, we will go to the in-laws to have Christmas with them. Later in the week, we are going to Holiday in the Park. The fun just never stops...we did we do without kids?
