Girl Mom Training! HELP!!!

I need some serious "girl mom" training. I got this really cute outfit from Laurie (Brock's aunt). I absolutely LOVE it. I was all excited about Halle wearing it and then...it wouldn't fit over her head. The bow in the front was too tight and I would have to untie it to get it to fit over her head, but I can't tie pretty bows!

So, I tell Halle...I have to squeeze this over your head, but I promise to untie it to take it off...I get it over her head and then can't fit it over her shoulders! So I have to untie it....The bow that I tied was pitiful...Brock tries and that was pitiful also! Brock is like...Schauna, it's just a bow, chill out. But it isn't just a bow, it is my favorite outfit and it is a very important part of the outfit. Men just don't understand!!

So I do the best I can because I am running late. I figure at the program, surely I will find a girl mom that can tie a pretty bow. I did...not as pretty as it was, but much better than I was able to do.

Also, the bow on her head came with the outfit. Beautiful bow, but really big. I think too big...what do you think? Maybe when her head is bigger, it will look better.

Anyways, so my question is....how do I learn how to tie a really pretty bow? This is going to come up every Sunday, I'm sure. Does someone offer classes to clueless moms with 3 boys and then a girl????/

Jax's Spring Program

Today was Jax's spring program at MDO. He did a great job!

He was so excited for Halle to be there. He is so proud of his baby sister and always wants to show her off!

Jaxson is also very lucky to be in the same class with his cousin, Kennedie. They are only a few months apart in age. I love that he gets to see her each day. Some times they seem to act more like sister and brother than cousins.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful place for my kids during the day. The ladies at WCA are great and wonderful with my boys!

Halle 7 Weeks

On Tuesday, Halle went for her 2 month check-up...she was actually only 7 weeks and 1 day, but who's counting. The doctor said she looked great and there were no problems. She eats a lot so she gave me the okay to start giving her some cereal. I didn't wait for the okay with the boys, I just did it...I am really trying to go by the book this time...but some times I truly believe that mom knows best. Anyways, she is 11 pounds and 8 ounces and 23 inches long. So, not a tiny baby.

She is growing so much and I would give anything to slow time so that I could enjoy her more. All of them are growing up so fast and I am so afraid that one day I am going to look up and be at one of their graduations or weddings. I guess there is no way to stop time and I am sure that is every mother's wish...for now, I will just try to spend every minute I have with my babies and cherish every second.

Connor's Mother's Day Program

Connor had a Mother's Day program at school today. It was great!!!! The kids sang three songs and then we had a picnic lunch together it was fabulous! The 1st grade teachers did a great job getting the kids prepared.

Here is Connor singing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"

Connor singing "Because You Loved Me"

"Pretty Mama"...the beginning Connor is wiping tears from his eyes because he was laughing so hard...he never did tell me what he was laughing at.
