Connor's 7th Birthday!!!

Connor got so lucky this year! My parent's 30th anniversary was this year and it just happens to fall a couple of days before Connor's birthday. So we had a party for them and surprised them with their parents. The party was on Saturday and Sunday was Connor's birthday. We had quite a group meet us at Connor's favorite restaurant, Snuffer's, for lunch after church.

He was so excited to see so many people gathered together for his birthday! That evening my whole family met at Beau's house for dinner. The boys had a great time and it was wonderful to spend so much time with my grandparents and cousin that I never get to see.

It is very important to me for my grandfather to play and know Kaden since he is his name sake. Kaden's middle name is Samuel, like PeePaw. When he is in town, Kaden becomes Sammy. I love my grandfather and wish that I could spend more time with him.

Be thankful if you live close to your grandparents, I miss them everyday.

Happy Birthday Connor! I hope you had a GREAT day! I love you!

Labor Day????

I finally got Kaden to lay down and take a nap so that I could take a nap and this is what I found....

Needless to say, there was no room for me to take a nap...so sad. And I am the one growing another human!

Connor's 1st Day of 1st Grade

I can't believe how late this is, but you can guess why by reading my last post! Connor had a great first week of school. He has a wonderful teacher who I think is going to be great for him! He has already come home with new knowledge. He really enjoys class. It might be because he has so many of his friends in his class. Connor and I are really blessed to be at such a wonderful school with wonderful teachers and students. I love my class and my team.

This is going to be a great year!

I'm Pregnant...Again

Most of you already know this, but I am indeed pregnant with my FOURTH child! It is quite a shock but looking at the other three sweet children running around, I can't be upset. Brock and I really do make great kids! I'm a little stressed about everything else surrounding it like money, patience, energy, and the list goes on and on....

It really all comes down to the fact the God promised that he won't give me anything that I can't handle, so I really have nothing to worry about...Well, I'm trying not to worry... Also, while I feel like I fall very short most of the time when it comes to being the best mom, wife, and teacher...I know again that I have to be doing something right for God to keep giving me these kids!

I am really excited to see what kind of personality we'll get this time because all three of my boys are wonderful but very different.

Connor is calm, quiet, thoughtful, very intelligent, and happy. He wants to know about everything, why things happen. He is not very affectionate, but very sweet.

Jaxson is rambucious, loving, happy, and a little wild. He is busy, busy, busy. He likes to wrestle and karate chop people, but he is very affectionate.

Kaden is sweet, happy and precious. He is a little young, but I can tell that he is his own little person.

Will I get a Jax, a Connor, another Kaden? What about a girl?

We'll see!

Connor and Jaz are really excited! In fact, Jax has two babies in his belly also and I get to here them talking and kicking all the time!

End of Summer Update

At the beginning of the summer, I listed several things that I wanted to accomplish before the end of the summer. Let's see how I did.....

1.) Catch up on scrapbooking
- Well, I did spend a whole weekend with good friends working on my many books and then another Friday night...but no I am not caught up...I need to do much more to be caught up.

2.) Thoroughly clean my house
- Well, I did but since then my sweet little tornadoes have again destroyed it.

3.) Organize closets and drawers
-Some I have, but not all

4.) Potty train Jax
-YES!!!!!

5.) Lose weight
-Well, I started, but as most of you know, instead of losing, I will be gaining....again....

I hate that I am starting school next week and leaving my babies during the day, but I do love my job! I work at a great school with wonderful teachers! I can't wait to see which wonderful teacher Connor gets next year!!!

Hawaiian Falls

Thursday, I took Connor and Jaxson to Hawaiian Falls in Garland with Jaime and Maddie. We had a great time!!! We got there about noon and the boys were very upset when we left at 6. We spent most of the day at the Lazy River and the Kid Part. Sorry, I don't know the names of the sections.

I hate that we went so late in the summer. We had so much fun and I wish there was more time to go again.

We only have one more week of summer left! I 've got to find some fun things to do, to make the most of it!

VBS at Eastridge

So, it has been over a week since VBS ended, but for some reason I can't post without a picture and I couldn't find where I put my camera.

We had a great time at VBS this year! Debbie and I were in charge of the 3rd and 4th graders and we had a lot of fun with those kids. Connor and Jaxson had blast each night and they were excited to go each night!

Brock stayed home with Kaden on Sunday and Tuesday night since it was past his bed time, but Kaden loved being there on Monday and Wednesday.

We can't wait until next year!
